On the Saturday we left Al Hamra and headed for Dubai, 50 miles north. This was our first sight of Dubai with the Burj Dubai (Dubai Tower) in the distance. This is the tallest building in the world, so far, and it is almost finished. Out hotel (the Qamardeen) was fairly close to the Burj Dubai.
